I AM A POST-DOCTORAL STUDENT AT OHIO STATE; HOW DO I ENROLL IN GRADUATE COURSES?
|
1. If you want to enroll in graduate level courses, you will have to apply to the Graduate Non-Degree program. You can find the application for the Graduate Non-Degree program online at http://www.gradadmissions.osu.edu/nondegree.html
2. If you are applying to the Graduate Non-Degree program, you must have completed at least a Bachelor’s Degree. You must supply official transcripts and degree statements from all previous universities that you attended.
3. If you are an international student or recent immigrant, refugee or asylee, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree outside of the United States, you are required to take the TOEFL. You can take the TOEFL through our American Language Program (ALP). Please contact ALP at alp@osu.edu to setup at time to take the TOEFL.
4. International graduate non-degree applications are subject to a graduate school review. Remember to mention that you are doing research work for Ohio State University in your application.

1. You will want to contact a professor in a department that shares your research interest to inform them that you want to determine what research opportunities are available for you within their department.
2. You will want to contact The Office of International Affairs-International Student Services (OIA-ISS) for assistance in obtaining an Exchange Visitor Visa(J). OIA-ISS can be contacted via e-mail at iss@oia.osu.edu
